Pound boys - way back when

Foster Homes Wanted for Dogs and Puppies
We need people to look after dogs for a short while so that we can assess them before moving them to permanent homes. If we have nowhere to put the dogs we have to leave them at the pound - we do not have our own kennels . We prefer you to live in the area of Bournemouth, Poole, or Weymouth, Dorset. You should be in most of the day so the dog it not left alone for long periods. You should not be house proud as dogs can shed hair, bring in mud, and may not be completely house trained. You should be fit enough to exercise the dog. If you would like more information please phone Jayne on 0773 6176613 between 11am and 5pm or e-mail your details including the town you live in and your phone number with the subject Fostering to info4&#

I have asked 2 times about getting copies of the June 1965 issue of Boy’s Life. I must have B/O as nobody wants to let me know if is possible. Is It???

Lake St. Clair: Walleye anglers primarily had luck in the shipping channel and around the Dumping Grounds when trolling a crawler harness. The bigger fish were coming from the Dumping Grounds.  Smallmouth bass fishing was slow but a few were caught around the St. Clair Light. Many were now fishing for largemouth in the canals and along the shoreline. Perch anglers had luck when jigging crawlers out near the Middle Channel at Buoy 29.

Drake was sued by the estate of Jimmy Smith over the sampling of "Jimmy Smith Rap" in the song. Although Cash Money Records had licensed the recording of the spoken-word piece, the estate argued that they had not licensed the composition (or lack thereof). The estate argued that they would not have licensed the song to Drake in the first place, given that Smith "wasn't a fan of hip hop". Of particular prominence in the case was a line from "Jimmy Smith Rap" that was modified to express an opinion different from that of the original recording; the line "Jazz is the only real music that's gonna last. All that other bullshit is here today and gone tomorrow. But jazz was, is and always will be", was abridged in "Pound Cake" to state that "Only real music's gonna last. All that other bullshit is here today and gone tomorrow." [18]
